Lawl
So we were in Ulduar last night, bulldozing bosses and lol’ing along the way, as Ky and Amber will also say. Hell, we were even in our healer channel trying to conduct which blogger was going to be talking about what today. With 4 bloggers in one guild… we don’t want to type over each other, haha.
Well I got the fun in lawl’ing at someone’s QQing. Now, the sad part is actually half this conversation toon place in vent, and sadly I cannot SS that.. BUT… I atleast got what was in /o chat. (SCORE!!)
It started out with one of our noobish officers logging into vent, and asking if we had a spot for him in Ulduar… 1 ½ hours after we start it. o.O Uh…. No? We start at 7, he logs on at 8:30 and expects a spot? LOLOLOLOLOL The best part, when we tell him no, he gets pissy in /o chat explaining why we should kick someone so he can come in.
CAUTION:
Hilarity will ensure… you may even pee yourself a little.
Yes… because he had a bad day, he should get to come in just because he’s pissy.
(I know his chat is hard to understand because he can’t grasp proper English, but in a nutshell…
He was at school waiting for someone for 45 minutes who didn’t tell him she had a ride, and on top of that, he had a soccer game and had to sit the bench because another player forgot his shirt to play and ‘pissy kid’ had to give his up and not play… even worse, his team lost.)
When we tell him no, he still insists that we kick someone… of which we… kinda… wont?
Five minutes later:
AMG, LAWLZOR
Amber makes a funny he doesn’t like because we won’t let him come.
Keep in mind, this is an officer, one of the best DPS we have, and he’s QQing because he can’t have his cake and eat it to.
In vent he makes a comment around the lines of, “Come on… doesn’t anyone want to be nice to me since I’ve had a bad day?”
Amber then responds in our healer channel:
When no one responds, he finally catches the hint.
Maybe he doesn’t realize how he sounds because 1. he’s much younger than the rest of the guild, 2. he was in a bad mood, and 3. ever since he became an officer he’s become an egotistical PITA… but the other officers were growing aggravated because we had to listen to this it for half an hour of his bitching.
Anyway… look for parts 2 and 3 from Amber and Ky of last night, enjoy. =)

Hi,
I guess i could have step out for him since i was the weakest dps, i’m the new guy, he’s an officer and all…..
But his attitude about it was so wrong i decided to keep my spot. Plus, coming 1.5 hour late and expecting someone to give you his spot..
Also, i started the night without my dps add-on because i tought i would heal and forgot to load my add-on when i was told i’d dps…*shame*
…that put me off my game so much (plus the fact i had never dps in Ulduar before) that i spent the entire first group of adds mashing the wrong button…for a wonderful 300dps for the first 5 minutes. *hang himself out of shame*
I would have been lowest dps anyway but i might have hit the 3k dps for the night instead of 2.8k.
If i’m to dps more often then i really have to work on my Boomkin gear more so if you’re looking for a partner to run heroics to gear your shammy i’m your man.
Anyway, i think the raid went really well despite my newb dps and the slight problem we had on Thorim at the end.
Also dont worry guildmate, my dps will go up shortly..although i really like to heal more than i like to dps (probably because i am MUCH better at it lol).
Sorry for rambling on and on.

And don’t sweat it about the DPS thing. We all know your main spec was healing, and we assumed you were new to DPSing Ulduar, and we wanted to get a feel to what you were capable of, and considering a circumstances, you did fine. As we said, we had no reason to kick you, honestly. Hunt is just… well… a selfish little dick.
But we do have quite a few healers now, so buffing up that DPS set, like the rest of the healers are starting to do, would be a good idea. (I’ve got kitty, all the priests have shadow, Ky has a tank off spec), that way if we need you as an offspec like last night, you won’t have a lot of issues. =)

Maybe I should buff up my healing set, and get another spectral kris. Even a Pally got one last night, oh thats right he DE’d it. Shame. 😛

LOL, that spectral Kriss is really good indeed.
I have a very nice one that i’m using for both my dps and healing set…with a very nice +39spell power Dragon eye in it too!
I saw 1 of them being DE too (on the last 2 run i did), its shame you werent there Mik 😦

@Kotakh – You were fine. By this point, I don’t care what rank you have you don’t deserve a spot once invites have gone out and you were late. On the other hand, we did make a mistake and not get an invite to a Core Raider that should have gone instead.
@Rivs and Kotakh – LMAO! You guys fit in well. New members and already taunting Mikata with the Kris. 🙂
Anyway, I won’t make fun of Hunt on this, but I will play devil’s advocate and say he probably didn’t mean for it to come out the way he did. He should have just asked if there was a spot and left it alone. Unfortunately he didn’t, so I’m not defending him on this one.

I have a question about that. As a new member i dont have the core raider status yet (but i will get there, i swear).
So i’m wondering which is more important to have “priority” to get an invite to the raid. Is it Core raider status or signing up for the raid on the forum? Just wondering.

Priority comes with the rank.
I went ahead and posted about it on the forums.
I know you mentioned to me that you had an interest in becoming a Core Raider, and from what I can tell, it seems you can meet the requirements we need. I’ll bring it up with the rest of the officers and get thier insight.
